Sadest News

Treice has lost her battle. I was blessed to help her find her way at the end and will never forget who she was. On friday May 8th at 2pm we will gather to celebrate her life at First Memorial, 602 Kingsway, one block west of Fraser. We ask that you do not send flowers.

Oh Kelly, you are such a beautiful person. I am so glad you were there to help Treice make the transition. She was truly an incredible woman. Unforgettable in every way. She is still that incredible woman, always will be - but in another state and place now. I can see her smiling and at peace. You're a big reason for that smile and that peace. You and Max both. Always will be.
Much love from G and Big Joe

Treice's wonderful sense of humour, positive outlook and facility with words will be greatly missed and fondly remembered!

Thank you, Kelly, for being such a pillar of strength and love for her during this battle - Triece couldn't have been in better hands. My heart goes out to you and Max.

Treice was part of our family when she was a teenager growing up in Toronto. We are sorry our paths have not continued to cross. We have thought of her so often of late and somehow hoped life would bring her a special miracle. It did not happen as it so seldom does with this disease. Our love goes out to her family. She is, I guess, in a better place as they say. But her place was with you Kelly and Max.

I just learned of Treice's death tonight. How my heart aches for you Kelly and Max.
She will always hold a very special place in my heart. I had great respect for the person that she was and the deliberateness with which she lived her life. I lost touch with her this past year as she fought so hard to stay with you. I felt saddened by this, but also knew that she had everything she needed in her family and friends.
I am so proud to have called her my friend.
I will never forget.

Kelly, this wife of yours meant so much to me. I loved her dearly. I am at a loss how to express and so wish I would be in Vancouver to celebrate the woman she was. I will forever look up to her, and hear her words of support she gave; her love of LIFE! Her passion and non-judgement and readiness to connect will always stay with me. We are thinking of you and Max, here in Ontario.
Love Carole, Tom, Stephanie and Charlotte

We are so sad to hear about Treice. She really was (is) one of the most genuinely sweet people I have met. We still remember your visit to us in Midway.
Kelly & Max, lots of thoughts and love coming your way from Grand Forks where we are now living.

Kelly and Max,

She was truly the best boss that I have ever had. She saw the positives in me and encouraged me to grow in my work as well as my person.

I thank the universe for letting me know her.

Nat

Kelly- Libbie and I use your picnic backpack all of the time and we think of you both with a smile.

I met Treice when we worked together in a wood shop, fret sawing wood, creating beautiful shapes; but her greatest creation she shared with you Kelly. Lucky you, lucky her, lucky Max. Rest in peace my friend I will miss you.
